How do I listen? What kind of devices can I use to listen to books from Chirp?
Once you've ordered an audiobook, you can listen to your books from Chirp using the Chirp app, available for Android and iOS devices. You can find more information here: How to Listen. You can also stream Chirp audiobooks in your web browser on a Mac or PC, as well as other devices, here: My Library.
Can I listen to a book offline?
You can listen to any book under "Downloads" in the Chirp app without an internet connection. To download a book, select the book under "All Books" and tap the download icon.
Why aren't my purchases appearing in the Chirp app?
If you don't see a book you've purchased in the Chirp app, please confirm that you've signed in to Chirp using the same email address you used to order the book. We'd also encourage you to refresh your list of books, and to ensure that your device is connected to a network.
How do I remove a book from my phone?
If you'd like to delete a book you’ve downloaded, simply select the book in the Chirp app and tap the "downloaded" icon, and confirm that you’d like to delete the file from your phone. (You can still stream the audiobook whenever you're connected to the internet, or download it again any time.)
What is your money back guarantee?
We hope that you enjoy your audiobook purchase. However if for any reason you aren't satisfied, just let us know within 7 days of your purchase and we can issue you a refund. We can also help you find an audiobook that's a better fit. Just reach out to us at support@chirpbooks.com for help.
I'm looking for a specific book or author. Is it available on Chirp?

Can I use Chirp outside the United States?
Chirp is only available in the United States. If you ordered an audiobook and you're unable to listen to it because you're outside the United States, we can refund you for your purchase. Just reach out to us at support@chirpbooks.com for help.
What should I do if I can't sign in to the Chirp app?
If you're having trouble signing in to the Chirp app with your email address and password, we'd suggest resetting your password before you try again. If you are already logged in, you can reset your password by going to your Account Settings. If you're logged out, you can go to the Forgot password page and follow the instructions.
Can I download audio files from Chirp to an MP3 player?
It isn't possible to download MP3s from Chirp, but you can listen to our audiobooks using the Chirp app, available for Android and iOS devices. You can also stream Chirp audiobooks in your web browser on a Mac or PC, as well as other devices, here: My Library.
What is recaptcha and how is it used by Chirp?
reCAPTCHA is a service that helps protect Chirp from spam and abuse. This site is protected by reCAPTCHA and the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.
